Liquid Polyisobutylenes

Brad-Chem supplies a range of liquid polyisobutylene synthetic lubricants. The polyisobutylenes are colourless liquids with a wide range of molecular weights and viscosities. They are chemically stable and resist oxidation by light and moderate heat. They will not leave a residue when volatilised or thermally decomposed. Products are approved for incidental food contact applications.

Products range from mobile liquids with viscosity ca 30mm²/sec at 40°C (molecular weight ca 370) to highly viscous liquids with viscosity ca 150,000mm²/sec at 40°C (molecular weight ca 2,500).
