Brad-Chem manufactures speciality liquid, ashless Additive packages for synthetic oil basestocks to protect mineral
oils, natural oils and synthetic lubricant systems from oxidation, wear and corrosion.
These are fully formulated packages for the manufacture of:
- NSF approved lubricants
- High temperature synthetic lubricants
- Biodegradable industrial lubricants
- Energy saving lubricants
The packages typically contain antioxidants, extreme pressure/antiwear additives and corrosion inhibitors for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Formulations are balanced so that the performance of one additive does not affect the activity of another.
Antioxidants
Brad-Chem manufactures and supplies solid and liquid antioxidants, typically:
- Solid phenolic antioxidants
- Liquid phenolic antioxidants
- Liquid blends of phenolic and aminic antioxidants
These are used for the protection of mineral oils, natural oils and synthetic basestocks
from oxidation, i.e. degradation by reaction of oil with oxygen at high temperature.
